Absorbent & Controlled Solvent Delivery:

Holds and evenly distributes high-purity solvents (such as $99.9\%$ isopropyl alcohol or acetone) across the glass surface to dissolve stubborn contaminants without dripping into mechanical mounts.

Non-Abrasive Surface Protection:

Made from ultra-soft materials—such as knitted polyester microfibers or high-density polyurethane foam—that clean without scratching delicate anti-reflective (AR) coatings on zinc selenide (ZnSe), fused silica, or quartz optics.

Zero Fiber Shedding:

Unlike consumer cotton swabs, cleanroom-grade laser swabs are thermally bonded (no adhesives or glues) to prevent loose threads, lint, or chemical residues from transferring onto the clean optic.
