| Cavity Length ($L$) | Determines the resonant frequencies (longitudinal modes) and standing wave spacing. |
Providing Positive Optical Feedback: The resonator bounces light repeatedly back and forth through the gain medium via highly reflective mirrors.
Selecting Specific Frequencies (Monochromaticity): By acting as a Fabry-Pérot interferometer, the resonator only supports standing waves whose wavelengths fit integer multiples into the cavity's optical path length.
Shaping the Spatial Beam Profile: The geometric alignment and curvature of the resonator mirrors restrict how light rays bounce.
Extracting the Output Beam: One end of the resonator consists of a partially transparent mirror called an Output Coupler.

Under normal circumstances, all products covered in this booklet have a shelf life of one year from the day they are delivered to the customer, and the warranty time is calculated as if the product were not opened in its packaging. After opening the package and using it, it is not covered by the warranty period, except for the laser cutting head.
